The Elections Committee is responsible for organizing, conducting and supervising all elections that are not spelled out in the bylaws, such as the election for President and contract ratification.
2026 Elections
Nominations for AEA Spring 2026 Elections positions will open at the February Rep Council meeting, with candidate applications due online in early March and Nominations/Speeches at the March Rep council.
Open positions include:
(1) AEA Board of Directors Secretary (3 year term)
(2) AEA At-Large Board of Directors Member (3 year terms)
(12) AEA Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) Members (1 year term)
(30) Delegate Assembly Delegates (3 year term)
(# TBD) Representative Assembly Delegates (1 year term)
