Professional Development Committee
This session will introduce you to numerous free library resources available! Come learn, explore and practice with district, municipal, state and federal libraries. Discover free resources you did not even know you had to support your content and students!
Discover, or rediscover creative strategies for student engagement. Learn some new brain-friendly techniques to help engage your students’ curiosity, thinking skills and collaboration. Engage and have fun with your students!
Teachers are being evaluated on the quality of student questioning and engagement in their classroom, yet, many say that getting students to ask their own questions can feel 'like pulling teeth.' Develop your ability to teach students how to produce their own questions, improve them, and strategize on how to use them. Transform students into active, engaged learners, who take ownership of their learning using the Questions Formulation Technique (QFT).
