Negotiations Committee
The Negotiations Committee is diligently gathering information for Contract 2010. Our task is to explore and prepare information in the area of teacher welfare. We are clarifying current contract language and gathering member input in preparation for the next bargaining team.
The Bargaining Team will be established in the Spring of 2009. The Negotiations Committee will work collaboratively with the next Bargaining Team providing information about ASD budgets, comparable district salaries, contract language, members concerns, and bargaining training opportunities.
The committee is open to all members and currently meets the third Monday of the month at 4:30 at the AEA office. Please come be part of the process towards Contract 2010.
