This year on the Health Benefits Committee, we are working with the Anchorage School District on creating a Wellness Program for all ASD employees. The Health Benefits Chair, Megan Larson, has a seat on the Wellness Committee that is brainstorming this project. We hope to have something in place by the end of this year to be ready to use for the
2010-2011 school year.
Because the Wellness Committee is meeting frequently and is a small group of representatives from all employees in the Anchorage School District, the Health Benefits Committee will not be having separate meetings this year.
